The schedule of the self-study and assessment forums has been changed. There will now be only two meetings: the first on Thursday, January 31; and the second on Tuesday, February 5. Both meetings will start at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall.

The message below is from Phyllis Holland, the chairperson of the search committee for a new rector:

The Search is ON!
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN FORUM SCHEDULES!!!

Your participation is essential to the successful search, selection, and call of a new rector.

1. Individually and in groups, pray regularly for the search process and the search committee. Watch the Sunday bulletin for specific requests at each step of the process.

2. Attend ONE of the self-study and assessment forums scheduled for January 31 or February 5. Be prepared to discuss the values, programs, and events that provide the foundation for Christ Church. Also be prepared to prayerfully receive data about the current state of the Church and Diocese and to articulate your vision for the mission of the church in the future. Recognize that there will be differences of opinion, but that a church that has reached a consensus in love about who it is and where it is going will be most attractive to potential rectors. Meetings will be held at 7:00 PM in Parish Hall

3. Maintain your support of church activities with your prayers, your participation, and your pledge fulfillment. A committed congregation will also be very attractive.
